Have fun!
What a wonderful time to balance fun with introspection. Take time to enjoy the company of others, and enjoy the cold that surrounds us and drives us indoors with an encouragement to also spend time in introspection. Introspection, or self-reflection, is important. Know yourself so you know who you are sharing each time you are out in the world.
Saying or doing something with the excuse that you “didn’t mean to” can be used only a very limited number of times in an entire lifetime. If those words come often from your mouth, you are not living in authenticity. You are not spending time in reflection or giving thought before saying or doing.
Reflection and introspection give you time to think and know how you want the world to know you.
Wintertime is a wonderful time to reflect so that when we interact with others, we do so with more authenticity. Sharing a more real representation of who you are is a gift of yourself to the world. You are a gift, so let others know what a wonderful gift you are.
When you are more real, you are more able to relax and thus able to filter less—and therefore have more fun.
