Living from Center is a choice that requires consciousness, not perfection. Some people will describe life from Center as being in balance, while another may prefer to think of it as living in harmony. If either, or another word, fits for you, that’s the way you live.
Years ago, I never thought I could achieve living spiritually Centered because I viewed it in a pinpoint way. Trying to be me and living in a perfect pinpoint way was, well, impossible.
It took years before I realized Centered need not be perfect or pinpoint. Neither would it be so focused on trying to be perfect that life was idealistic. Only the monks in a monastery could achieve a spiritually Centered life. Really, I am not sure if that is real or an illusion taught to me from a young age. Although, it really does not matter. We are not living as monks. We are living in a socially complex society.
I’d also like to say, living from Center does not necessarily need to mean a person is living a life that is spiritually Centered. It is a life that is defined by how you choose to define your life. Living Centered does mean your life has a balance and harmony with a focus or place that can bring a still calm to your inner energy center.
Living from Center is living from a place of honoring your peace within yourself. A comfort for who you are. A life that fosters balance and harmony that honors your individual essence from your core. It’s an inner experience that you create from within that is unique to you.
Your Center self is not a pinpoint life, but a circle or concentric circles, or perhaps more like intersecting circles, if any of those images fit how you perceive your life. Remember, you are the creator.
It’s often said that if we don’t live from the center, we are living from our ego. In truth, many of us do have many moments living from our ego. That is a part of the dance of life: balancing and harmonizing, trying to honor our core self with all that is happening in the external world.
When I’m pulled from my Center, I remind myself that being as close to Center as possible is where I’d like to be. Breathing calmly and allowing myself to return naturally is alright. At times, it’s easier, and other times it takes longer.
Breathing techniques help me the most. The calm I feel during these techniques brings my awareness closer to Center. I may only be closer or on the outer edge of Center, depending on what happened.
I also think being an optimist has helped me return to Center more quickly. It’s too hard for me to have my internal calm and hold stress for a long time. My personal optimism wants to calm so I can access my internal insight and knowledge.
I also know I work with many who seek information from their angels and guides because they want inner calm, to find insight, and to live centered.
Asking for direction and assistance as you define your Center makes sense. However, the final definition, direction, awareness, balance, harmony, as well as how it may be configured and evolved, is all yours to create.
After all, you are your own Center. Only you can define what that calm, balance, harmony, and at times chaos circles around your authentic core.
