My first introduction to the fae realm happened when I was very young—before grade school. I was chatting away one day, as I often did, and my mother, seeking a moment of quiet, told me, “Go outside and talk to the trees.”

Unknowingly, she gave me the perfect invitation. Perhaps she meant for me to speak to the trees, but in my innocence, I spoke with them—and they spoke back.

I didn’t know it then, but it was the fae who were speaking with me. Tree spirits, fairies, and nymphs shared their stories and wonder. That was the beginning of my friendship with the fae.

A Silenced Connection

As I entered grade school, I was told I had an “overactive imagination.” My early experiences were dismissed, and with that dismissal came self-doubt. Though those moments felt vivid and real in my heart, I learned to keep them to myself. I tried to shut down that part of my intuitive nature, burying it quietly within.

An Unexpected Reunion

Years later, as an adult on a business trip, I found myself wide awake one night and decided to meditate. During that meditation, a fae lord came to me. He invited me to remember my belief and renew my friendship with the fae.

In that moment, something reawakened. I was welcomed back and taught how to connect more deeply and intentionally with their realm. Since then, I’ve listened to their stories, learned their ways, and felt called to share what I know.

Sharing the Magic

One of the ways I’ve shared my connection is through Earthen Teas—especially Fairy Godmother Celebrations. These gatherings invite fae presence and offer blessings through tea, intention, and community. During these celebrations, I enter a deep meditation to connect with the fae realm and receive insights into who is stepping forward as a godparent and what blessings they offer.

Fairy godmothers are very real. They delight in bestowing blessings to those who seek connection. Other themed teas I host include:

  • Firefly Blessings
  • Dragonfly Dreams
  • Mermaid Wishes

Each tea is a celebration of magic, joy, and gentle enchantment.

Fae in the Home and Garden

Over time, I’ve also been invited into homes and yards to help others connect with the fae, identify who is already present, or offer clearings and blessings to make space for new fae energies.

Some highlights:

  • I helped one family clean and bless their yard. Within a few weeks—despite it being early autumn—dragonflies returned. A sure sign the fae were back.
  • For another client, I blessed their cabin and met a land guardian during meditation—a medicine man—who agreed to watch over the space.
  • I’ve also helped shield homes from disruptive neighbors by invoking protective energies and working with elemental beings.

These are just a few ways I’ve used my intuitive gifts to bridge our world with the world of the fae.

Inviting the Fae

Whether through quiet conversation with trees, tea ceremonies, or spiritual blessings, my relationship with the fae is one of mutual respect and deep love.

They are valued beings who wish to find mutuality with humans again. They hope, as I do, that someday the veil between our worlds will no longer be necessary—that we will live again in harmony with one another.

If you have questions about the fae, are seeking a fae reading, would like a house or yard blessing, or want to attend an Earthen Teas Celebration, I would be honored to guide you.

Working with the fae is one of the most treasured parts of my life. It is sacred, joyful, and deeply enriching—and it’s a gift I love to share.
