Remember, when you speak to and about yourself, you are creating the energy you choose to live by. Even words said in jest affect your energy field. Your subconscious stores these messages in your aura, and it does not know the difference between a joke and a genuinely believed thought.

Self-recriminating messages, even said playfully, are just as real to your energy field as messages spoken with full intent. So be mindful of how you talk to and about yourself.

If you catch yourself giving a negative self-message, cancel it immediately. Then replace it with a positive, affirming message that overpowers the negative one. Keep your energy field and aura healthy, clear, and positive, so you can operate from support and self-love rather than harmful, self-critical messages.

Did you know we are bombarded with far more negative messages than positive ones each day? These messages come from both external sources and our own self-talk. While we cannot control what others say, we can manage our inner dialogue. The words don’t need to be spoken aloud—sometimes the thoughts we quietly hold have even more power. Don’t give negative, unsupportive thoughts a place in your energy field.

Even when someone else’s words feel negative, you can cancel them simply by saying “cancel” or by repelling energy that doesn’t serve you. This is an important act of self-care.

During busy seasons, it’s easy for negativity to spread. Don’t be the one to spread it, and don’t take on someone else’s negative energy. Let this—and every—season be your season of healthy, happy self-care.
