At this time of year, it is easy to become caught up in holiday activities. Remember, all these activities may be fun, but if it’s too much, it’s too much. Self-care is always important. Sometimes it’s important to look at the holiday season in its entirety and decide if all the activities and festivities are worth your time and effort or if it’s wiser to pick and choose which activities to participate in.

And if you find yourself becoming overwhelmed, step back or find your way to recoup your energy.
Energy is precious, and it keeps us healthy, happy, balanced, and spiritually grounded. Respect yourself and your energy enough to keep your energy at a decent level.

Let’s be real and fair. This is the holiday season. You want to have fun. When having fun, you may stretch your energy boundary some. That’s fair and not necessarily unreasonable. However, depleting your energy to collapse or crashing it beyond reasonable levels is harmful.

Have fun. BUT be kind and respectful to yourself. If you find you’ve stretched too far, find and use the energy pathways that help you return to a better place of energy balance and strength.

Have a great holiday season!
