The Year of the Fire Horse seems to be challenging many people’s idea of what spirituality is. If this is you, I suggest you begin by going within to understand what spirituality really is to you. There is profound strength in conceptualizing your intrinsic spiritual essence.
During many readings, people will tell me they are spiritual but not religious. I admit I used my definition of these terms to define their meaning. Now, though, as so many are facing new challenges, it may be advantageous to comprehend how you connect with your soul’s essence. This is a complex journey that challenges and veers from existing norms, taught standards, and societal patterns and expectations. Have you ever taken the steps to go deeply enough to explore, on a soul level, what and how your soul authenticates you?
We are accustomed to living a comfortable life. We’ve become so comfortable, many are concerned with, often afraid of, all that can go wrong. We fear the unknown and settle for the familiar. Instead, we could be excitedly welcoming all that can go right when we connect with the wisdom of our spiritual essence, our soul. The Year of the Fire Horse energy has a focus on releasing the familiar for freedom.
Being spiritual is personal, as is being religious. Our spiritual experience, as well as religious participation, is as we choose—on any level, depth, involvement, or absence.

This difference helped me open my view and self-acceptance.
Also, being an intuitive my entire life and having my gifts accepted within my family, even though not my church, affected my spiritual outlook.
Spirituality supports our finding our inner knowing, our truth, our connection with our soul.
