Spring Cleaning. What does that mean to you? Spring has a reputation for being a time to clean. Though it usually associated with cleaning one’s house, it’s also a good time to take inventory and assess one’s internal house.
Take inventory. Reflect on your life. Assess how you want your life to be.
All too often taking inventory, reflecting, and assessing what you want in your life, generally has people looking for what they want to change, eliminate.
What needs to change is important. However, what you want to keep and even expand, is more important. Taking more time reflecting on the positive is far more life affirming, energizing, and invigorating, than is what you want to change.
Think how wonderful your life is when you focus on what you want in your life and even expand. This gives your life energy and enjoyment. And when you are focusing on the joy, the part you want to change or eliminate may just go so far to the side they won’t need any time or attention. Hence you allow your changes to come in an easy way. While be replaced with more joy.
I encourage you to join me in bringing more joy to my life this spring!
